About your trip

Ditch the Pouch, We’re Eating Well!

Are you a foodie looking for a unique adventure?

Look no further than our women's backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon of Yosemite through Glen Aulin in Yosemite! This trip is centered around backcountry cooking and meals, giving you the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature while indulging in delicious, gourmet food.

In this spectacular trip, we travel on the Glen Aulin trail from Tioga road in Yosemite’s high country. Weaving our way through forests and high alpine meadows, we travel down to Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp with jaw-dropping views of the waterfalls and canyon. Once in Glen Aulin, we set up our basecamp and spend the days eating and exploring the area.

From base camp, you’ll have the option to challenge yourself with guided day hikes down to the epic Waterwheel Falls and beyon, stretch and do yoga on granite slabs, swim and bask in the alpine water, or simply sit in your hammock with a good book and even better views. All the while, your guides will be preparing you delicious meals so that all you have to think about is recharging and rejuvenating your soul with a well-deserved nature reset.

Our experienced guides will lead you on a journey through stunning landscapes, while teaching you how to prepare mouth-watering meals using only the ingredients you can carry on your back. Not only that, we’ll have several clinics throughout the trip to cover nutrition for wilderness performance, food safety, packing strategies and tips-n-tricks for cooking equipment.

Imagine enjoying a warm, hearty meal under the stars, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Yosemite. This trip is perfect for women who love food and want to experience the great outdoors in a whole new way. Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that will leave you with unforgettable memories and a newfound love for backcountry cooking!
